10/28 is killer...I think 11/13 is even better...Actually, 11/13 is what started this ball rolling for me...Late Fall '72 that is. What an incredible few months.

I've always liked 11/18 better than the 19th, just for the amazing Playin in the Band. 12/10/72 is another very intense show. I think I may like the end of year shows better than the Europe shows.

No question. All the reasons cited below in the exceptional Europe '72 Notebook
entry for the quality of those spring performances (Keith becoming fully integrated, Billy adjusting to being the lone drummer, etc.) seem- logically, by extension- to apply to an even greater extent to their July->December '72 run.
Which for me is the jewel in the crown of their performing history.
